Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 2 Angul started in the year 2017 in the temporary building provided by Railway. The vidyalaya is a single section school with one section in each class. At this moment the vidyalaya is having 410 students. The school is located near the Railway station Angul in a lush green surrounding. The green cool and calm atmosphere is highly conducive for the teaching learning process.
The highest class is class 9. It is a civil sector School and Railway is the sponsoring agency for this Vidyalaya.
