Community Participation – Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Angul
Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Angul encourages students to actively participate in community-oriented activities that promote social responsibility, empathy, cooperation and civic values. Students are provided opportunities to contribute to society through various outreach programmes, volunteer activities and awareness initiatives.
The school promotes participation in activities such as Swachhata and cleanliness drives, environmental awareness programmes, community outreach, social awareness campaigns, service activities, Scouts & Guides initiatives and other school-led community programmes. These activities encourage students to understand their responsibilities towards society and the environment.
Through participation in such programmes, students develop important life skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, communication skills and a sense of compassion towards others. They learn the importance of helping others, respecting the community and contributing positively to society.
