Vidyanjali – Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Angul
Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Angul actively participates in the Vidyanjali initiative, a Government of India programme that aims to strengthen school education through meaningful collaboration between schools, volunteers, community members and various organisations.
Through the Vidyanjali Portal, the school can connect with volunteers, organisations and contributors who are willing to support the school by providing services, resources, materials, expertise and other forms of assistance as per the identified needs of the Vidyalaya.
The initiative encourages community participation in areas such as teaching and mentoring, co-curricular activities, skill development, infrastructure support, educational resources, health and hygiene, sports, arts and other school-development activities.
Vidyanjali provides an opportunity for members of the community and organisations to contribute their knowledge, skills and resources towards improving the overall learning environment of the school. Such participation also helps students gain exposure to diverse experiences and learning opportunities beyond the regular classroom.
Through Vidyanjali, KV No. 2, Angul strives to build stronger school–community partnerships and create a supportive, enriching and student-centred learning environment.
